sauce is designed to add something distinct—whether it’s brightness, depth, or a steady warmth—so that even familiar dishes feel a little more alive. The name and tagline are intentional: a reminder that variety, in both flavor and experience, is what keeps things interesting.

Every bottle of Variety is made by hand, in small batches, from start to finish.

Each sauce is developed through ongoing testing and refinement—adjusted repeatedly until it reaches the right balance. The process is guided by taste, experience, and a clear vision of what the sauce is meant to be.

Balance sits at the center of everything. Heat and flavor are pushed together, not traded off against each other—so the spice has impact, and the flavor still holds its ground, even at higher levels of heat.

Origin

Variety began with Chris, Founder & Maker, and a long-standing passion for food and heat. With over 15 years of home cooking, he developed a deep familiarity with flavor and a kitchen shaped by a wide range of sauces, each with its own role.

What began as a personal project during the pandemic—making small batches to share with friends—gradually became something more. Over time, the process of experimenting, refining, and revisiting ideas continued to take shape.

In late 2025, a new round of sauces was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, marking a turning point. What started as a passion project became something to pursue more seriously, and ultimately something to share more widely. That shift led to Variety.
